A free pair of Sophia Webster shoes? I'm in

#sorrynotsorry for catching you out with the catchy title. I mean hey, a girl's gotta eat (or at least have people read the stuff she writes on the internet) right?

Anyway, I've teamed up with Lyst (aka my new favourite website and the reason my bank hates me) and I've gone and created my perfect wedding wish list. No, no. Ollie and I aren't getting married - although it was pretty amusing telling him I was shopping for wedding outfits - but since we're well into the wedding season it's sometimes nice to pretend. Especially if that 'pretending' consists of me terrorising my boyfriend into believing I'm a marriage-crazed woman. Sorry Ollie.

So! The shoes. I mean we're all here for the shoes, aren't we? Basically, Lyst are giving away three pairs of Sophia Webster shoes (worth up to £400) to one UK blogger, one US blogger and one Lyst member (that's you!).

All you need to do to enter is make a Lyst account here (you can sign in using your Facebook or Twitter if you're lazy like me), create your own wedding wish list, tag it with #LoveMyWeddingLyst and #Wedding, then simply persuade your friends and family to 'love' your Lyst! The person with the most votes? They get the shoes.

So hey, wouldn't it be pretty darn great if you won...and I won, and we could just walk around hand in hand with matching Sophia Webster shoes? Oh dem feels.

Of course it's up to you who wins, but if you like my Lyst - or you know, me - then you can head on over to my own Wedding Wish List and click the heart button. Either way, good luck on your own shoe-winning ventures!

Oh, hello internet! It's been a while (well, more like two days but in cyber world that's basically forever). I have no real excuse this time - life has just gotten away with me! It's now 3am as I'm writing this post and I'm only half way through my work that's due in for tomorrow - my own fault really. For once I decided it was a good idea to have a lie in...and then sleep through my alarm. Oops. Now I guess I'm paying for it!

Today's post was meant to be an oh oh tee dee, but right now my Macbook is pretty much screaming at me as I'm trying to render a video, so I'm not sure it could take any Photoshop action tonight. Alas, these shoes probably do deserve their own post purely for how long it took me to get hold of them - and because of how gorgeous they are of course. As far as I'm aware, they're still in the sale right now, so if you want to make your feet very happy I'd suggest you head on over now. Oh, they're in black too..

It's not often that I dedicate an entire blog post to one pair of shoes, but I thought these babies deserved it. There's nothing I love more than a comfy pair of shoes that work with just about everything - apart from maybe grilled cheese and cheeseburgers, but that's an entirely different story. Despite my love of all things cheese though, I'm still going to the gym on a regular basis (high five for me), and I'm almost tempted to pick up another pair of these kicks for said athletic purposes. Failing that, I'm just gonna grab a pair in white. And then another ten colours too..

Oops. I've only gone and committed one of fashion biggest crimes out there - wearing a pair of knock-off Balenciaga boots. I had my eye on the originals for a long long time (but really, who didn't?) but couldn't bring myself to part with two months rent for a pair of shoes. So here I am, opting for a cheaper variation. And the verdict? Surprisingly difficult to style. So it's time I turn things around to you - how would you style the Balenciaga (style) boots? I'm racking my brains here.

I feel like this is one of the first blog posts in a long long time where I haven't worn either black or white shoes - ground breaking, I know. But for me, wearing these shoes is a pretty big deal as they completely remind me of my childhood. I didn't exact own my own pair of Cat boots as a little'un, but I definitely wore my Dad's on more than one occasion - and I'd like to think that almost twenty years later I've learnt how to style them a little better. At least, I hope so anyway. During the past few weeks I've noticed a few familiar blogger faces prancing around in variations of these boots, so who knows, maybe these are soon to become the new 'it' shoe in fashion. Think Birkenstocks, but a whole lot warmer.
