Primark Holiday Haul & Try On

I used to be such a die-hard Primark fan. Seriously, whenever I mention anything regarding Primark to my Mum she reminds me of that time I spent five hours in one (embarrassingly small) Primark store. There was entire shopping centre to explore, and I'm pretty sure I spent the entire day buying copious amounts of cheap pants and pyjamas. I literally re-visited that same shop about five times that day.

Now don't get me wrong, I still love that crazy shop, only these days I'm a lot more speedy when it comes to filling up my basket. I am still partial to a few pants and PJ sprees when the feeling's right though. Don't worry, there's no try on panty parades in this video. And if you were looking for that sort of thing..you're probably on the wrong part of the internet.

So anyway, a few weeks ago I found myself grazing the aisles of Primark in preparation for my upcoming holiday to Turkey (FYI: Whilst you're reading this, I'll be on said holiday, potentially starfishing by the pool) and - since I bought a fair few things - I decided to haul the hell out of it over on my Youtube channel. You know the drill. Let me know what your favourite piece was and (shameless plug) make sure you hit that subscribe button!

So I don't know if you've noticed this about me at all, but I've got a bit of a thing for leather/faux leather things. And sandals. I bloody love ugly sandals. After my little ASOS spending spree the other day I couldn't say no to another pair of PU trousers. I don't know what it is about them, but for some reason I find them 10x easier to style than just your regular pair of jeans. Chuck on a pair of heels for a night out, a pair of trainers for the day...and a pair of pool sliders for when you're at the pool/just trying to embarrass your boyfriend who has to take photos of you. So multifunctional.

OooOoOo so before I forget - whilst we're on the topic of clothes and stuff - I'm going to start working on some fashiony Youtube videos on my channel very, very soon. I'd like to do a 'how to style' feature on there, so if there's something you desperately want to see styled up in an outfit, shoot it my way!

And PS..what's the opinion on the new lens!?

So maybe the title of this post is a bit of an exaggeration, as there aren't many people in the UK in their 20s that haven't shopped from Primark before. But (!) this is the first time since blogging I've even stepped foot into one of their stores, and when I came out with this sweater for a mere £5, I'm pretty sure it won't be the last. It reminds me so much of the windowpane sweaters that circled the interwebs a few seasons ago, that I never quite got my hands on. A little late on the trend, sure, but for £5, I'm not complaining. What's your best Primark purchase?
