Thierry Mugler Angel Perfume - A Star is Reborn

Thierry Mugler Angel Perfume

Theirry Mugler Angel barely needs an introduction. I mean, if you don't personally own it yourself there's bound to be someone in your family or circle of friends that absolutely adores it. My Nanny has always been Angel's number one fan, and has received a bottle of the stuff from me pretty much every year since I heard about it. Yet somehow, throughout all those years I've never actually squirted it on my own skin.

So when I answered the door to the postman holding a huge, huge box, the last thing I was expecting to be inside was a bottle of my very own Angel Perfume. In fact, strike that - the last thing I was expecting to see inside was a bottle of my very own engraved Angel Gravity Perfume with a real life star to go with it. Yes, you read that right. Not only did the Thierry Mugler PR nail it with their personalised bottles - swoon - but they actually took the time out to name a star after me and a bunch of other beauty blogging gals. Mugler did good.

Now onto the fragrance! Angel by Thierry Mugler is an oriental gourmand fragrance, which basically means that it consists primarily of synthetic edible notes such as honey and vanilla. Yum. The perfume is a deep, rich, almost chocolately scent that lingers on the skin for hours, and - in my personal opinion - only seems to get better with ageing. Speaking of which, the Angel perfume turns a whopping twenty five years old this year! If you're tempted to pick up a bottle, now is the time to celebrate!

Oh, and if any of you are heading into space sometime soon, you can find me in star form at the address NCG22 in the Pegasus constellation. Please, no fan mail.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream tag

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dreams tag

Sometimes, nothing beats a good tag video. Where's the video you might ask? It's er, in your dreams (pun intended). I'm leaving for London in just a few hours so thought I'd pop this tag into a blog post instead. I was sent the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream fragrance a few weeks ago and - whilst it's not my usual go-to scent - it's pretty delicious. Think lychee, blackberry and pear all mixed together with this season's 'must have accessory', coconut water. Just one thing - try not to drink it. Really.

What are you currently day dreaming about?

Anything that involves me doing absolutely nothing - namely a very long trip abroad to a very hot country..

What three items live in your dream wardrobe?

Are three Acne leather jackets a good enough answer?

Who's your dream celeb look-a-like?

I think a default option would have to be Angelina Jolie, I really need to say why? Although Natasha Poly is a pretty close second. Dat hair tho.

In your eyes, who's currently 'living the dream'?

Obviously just because someone's life seems amazing it doesn't mean it's perfect behind closed doors. But, if we're talking about how things look on the outside I'd say any household cat has a pretty fantastic life. Who could say no to continous naps and never-ending food?

What do you dream of more: love or money?

Luckily I've found love (queue soppy moment) so that just leaves me with money wishes. But when it comes to what's more important, it's definitely l o v e!

Your dream holiday escape?

It's been my lifelong dream to go on a real Safari tour, and then find a lion or tiger and hug them for hours and hours/become a part of their tribe. Failing that..I'm not really sure. Maybe LA? Australia? Somewhere with a big swimming pool?

Who's your dream Youtuber collab?

Without a shadow of a doubt, Essie Button. I'm a complete fan girl and I feel no shame.

Did you childhood dreams ever come true?

I've never really thought about it, but I guess they have in a way! I've never really known what I wanted to be - apart from a brief period when I wanted to become a hairdresser - I've just always wanted to be pretty free and not tied down by a job. Somehow, I've become a 'professional' internet person, which is pretty much every 90s kid's dream.

If one of your dreams could come true right now, what would it be?

Obviously I'd love for everyone in my family to be healthy and financially secure, but for something a little bit selfish I'd love to have my own place all to myself. Having just moved out with Ollie I now know how difficult it can be to save up money for a house, so I would love to suddenly get enough money to have the house of my dreams. Think Pinterest interior boards, but in real life.
