I think it's safe to say that photography is a pretty big part when it comes to blogging. You don't have to be great at it - although it can help - you just have to have your own personal style. My personal style? Lots of white backdrops, washed-out colours, fifty thousand flatlays and a lot of horrific out takes (maybe that'll be a blog post in itself one day). After months of toying with different ideas Ollie and I have finally settled on a style we both like shooting that takes around ten minutes to do. The shorter the amount of time I have to be in front of a camera, the better! When shooting with Jake back in London we had a set style that ran through all of our photos, but obviously with Ollie he has his own way of shooting, so that took a little getting used to. I think the best way to get the most out of your photos is to be comfortable with the person your shooting with, and to make room for mistakes - which we've had a lot of along the way. But most of all? Practise. A lot. And the whole standing-in-front-of-people-whilst-getting-your-pose-on? I'll let you know when I get the hang of that one..

There's nothing I love more than shopping my own wardrobe. In our new place, space is pretty limited, so I've had to put away a lot of my lesser-worn clothes and accessories for a while - one of them being my Grafea rucksack, which I just recently re-discovered. I feel like this beauty pretty much saved this outfit from being one of the boring #ootds on the internet, so for that, I thank you, little bag.

What have you recently re-discovered in your wardrobe?

MY favourite part about the hotter months - apart from ice cream for breakfast - is the amount of layers I don't have to wear for once. I love layering jackets, but what often goes unnoticed in these posts is the excessive wearing of thermals and leggings under everything I wear. This year, I broke my own personal record with one pair of leggings, two pairs of jeans, one thermal top, three vests, a jumper and two jackets - all in one outfit. In comparison to that, wearing just a (slight) crop top with sweatpants and flats..feels like I'm walking around naked. Breezy.
