Just like everyone else in my age group I'm pretty obsessed with everything and anything 90s right now (okay, maybe apart from nail stickers and NSYNC) but 'loving' and 'wearing' are two completely different things. I mean, just imagine me with double buns on my head and a tattoo choker around my neck - it's not exactly fitting with my usual look, is it? I'm more of a boxy shapes, denim on denim sorta gal.

But despite all this, and despite my general phobia of wearing a dress I decided to give it a go and style up my own take on the look, with an oversized bomber jacket (I'm so AC Slater right now..) and the obligatory over-lined lip. What do you think?

The title of this post was going to 'my Christmas day outfit' - but in reality I'll be spending most of my day in a tacky onesie and (most importantly) a food coma. So instead, here's a look that I would wear if I had the mentality of a normal 21 year old and actually ventured out of my house during the festive season. If only..

New Look felt fedora hat (sold out but cheap one here too)
Tobi.com black blazer (use code HAPPYHOLIDAYS for 40% everything!)
Rare London faux leather lace dress (another style here)
Carpena Elda checked bag (budget option here)
Steve Madden ankle strap heels (sold out but also here)

I'm moving! (Again)..

YES it's true - I'm off on my travels once again! Although this time I'm hoping it'll last a little longer than a few weeks. I've been back at home in Cornwall for not even a month yet, but it's already time to start packing everything up again. This time though, I'm staying South and actually going to somewhere with real shops and roads as opposed to cows and lanes. And get this - I'll have fast internet for once in my life! Oh lordy, this is gonna be good. That combined with a brand new Canon 6D (hello!) and a little DIY surprise I'm working on (read: I used a saw..) means yesterday was definitely one of the best days Ive had in a while.

What did you get up to in the past 24 hours?

THERE really is no place like home - which is where I'll be for the next two weeks. I've had my first proper night's sleep in months (no thanks to my neighbours back in London) and woke up to a bed filled with cats. My own, of course - although all are welcome.

This afternoon I've decided to leave my desk for a bit of fresh Cornish air, soon to be followed by a trip to le boyfriend's (who I haven't seen for nearly a month!) and a big all you can eat Chinese meal with his family. Not a bad day at all if you ask me. I wish I had something overly interesting and groundbreaking to say in this blog post, but since I've been asleep for the past eighteen hours not much has really happened. Instead, I'll leave you with yet another outfit featuring me in a dress. Until next time!
