The 'it' coat of the season

It Coat of The Season

Winter coats are one of the only things in life that I take seriously - along with naps and baked goods. I've seen so many overly chic women wandering around the streets of New York (albeit via my Macbook screen) wearing jackets that can only really be described as dressing gowns, and I wanted in. So obviously - me taking the coat business seriously and all - I got in. Or rather, I got one. Now, I guess I can pretend I'm that chic woman wandering the streets of New York with the dressing gown coat..just, minus the New York and chic bit. Life goals = pretty much accomplished.

My favourite Autumn outfit

My favourite autumn outfit

Hello ladies (and of course the odd gent that might find his way to my blog) - today I'm trying something a little different. After the amount of comments and compliments I got about my Iris and Ink sweater on Monday (ps. thank you!) I decided to keep it going with the colour and style up this jacket that I got the other day. It reminds me of a picnic blanket and that's exactly why I love it so much. As for the hat - that was just something I bought on a whim a few weeks back, and it's finally had it's blog debut! I'm pretty sure my head is ever so slightly too big for it, but it does keep the chill away from ye old scalp. Now all I need is some mittens and I am good to go! (Sidenote: that's never going to happen)..

How do you dress for Autumn/Winter?
