The best place to get cheap designer bags

Where to get cheap designer bags

I've never been one for frivolous spending, but when it comes to bags - designer bags in particular - I tend to go a little weak at the knees / purse strings. I blame fashion blogging. I mean, buying bags is practically a work investment for me, right?! Okay, maybe not, but hey, at least they're pretty. Anyway, investment or no investment, sometimes us girls (and guys) just like to treat ourselves, be it in the form of a bag of sweets, or a sweet bag. I have such a way with words, don't I?

Now let it be known - despite my mini luxury bag collection, I am not the kind of person that's in the position to drop a grand on a bag without looking back. If i can find a deal, you bet your butt I will. I mean, I've probably spent more time in my life researching designer bag deals than I have researching for my actual uni degree. Do they do uni degrees in designer bag shopping? I would graduate that course in an instant. So with all that knowledge in this pea-head of mine, I've decided to share one of my favourite places to bag shop on the old internet. Sorry in advance - you purses might end up a little lighter by the time you've finished this blog post.

I recently came across REBELLE when searching for a certain pre-owned designer bag that's been on my mind for a while *cough* the Celine Trapeze bag *cough* and I was shocked at how pretty the site looked. That sounds a little petty, I know, but I always find that most of the second hand sites I come across look more like a local jumble sale site than anything remotely luxury. I mean sure, I might be hunting for bargains, but that 'bargain' isn't just a new knit found in the racks of a charity shop, it's a bargain that could still cost me the equivalent of a months rent. What I'm trying to say here, is that - even if I'm not paying for full-price luxury - I still want the luxury experience.

I was also shocked at the amount of brands REBELLE carry. Hop onto Google and you can find a million and one sites selling second hand Michael Kors bags, but 3.1 Phillip Lim? Acne? Alexander Wang? Come to mama.

Let me know if you guys have any tips when it comes to second hand shopping!
