DESPITE my undying love for summer (note: ice cream), putting together a remotely acceptable outfit on a hot day is something I really struggle with. One of the best things about living in England however, is the fact that even in the warmest months we still manage to get rainfall and cold gusts of wind - thankfully today was one of those days. To ‘celebrate’ this British down pour I’ve decided to throw on one of my best (or worst - you decide) looks and run a few errands before heading over to the boyfriends. First stop: picking up a new coffee table that I won on eBay for £13. Hashtag bargain.

These trainers are quickly becoming one of my favourite things that I own, and I’m often asked where they’re from when I’m out and about (Hummel, if you were wondering). My Adidas sneakers of choice have been sold out for so long now that I decided to try out these bad boys and they haven’t really left my feet since being back in Cornwall. Has anyone ever tried driving in Birkenstocks or platform wedges? It’s not the easiest - or probably safest - thing in the world. Stick with the trainers, like I always do these days..
