There are so many articles online talking about how the allure of blogging is now over, so whilst I'm in this bed-ridden state (big thanks to the boyf for keeping me stocked up on medz) I was having a little thought - just a litle one - and thought I'd put in my two cents.

I've been blogging for a little while, but not as you may know it. I started my internet addiction when I was around 15 years old. It all began with Tumblr (no surprises there) and within a few years I had racked up quite a little following on there. Of course, none of the photos were my own and pretty much my entire dashboard consisted of food porn and Mary Kate and Ashley, but it was still nice knowing people actually cared what I did in my free time - even if that was just reblog pictures and moan about homework on the internet.

I've been blogging using my own photos for around a year and a half now, so I guess you could say I was a bit of a late starter. Even when I began back in January of last year there were Huffington post articles pretty much saying 'THE END IS NIGH!' with fashion blogging - yet here I am, along with everyone else in the internet world.

What I'm trying to say is, blogging definitely isn't dead. In fact, it's probably more alive than ever. Think about how many super-bloggers are now becoming celebrities or designers, and think about the amount of magazines are thriving in the digital world these days! I'm studying for a degree in Journalism right now and I'm almost certain I'll never work on a magazine or newspaper, because by the time I'm done literally everything will be on the www.

The flu is starting to mess with my head now, so I think those thoughtful five minutes have passed me, but I'd love to know what your opinion is on the future of blogging! I'll go grab a cat nap and we can continue this discussion in the comments below! Oh, and I hope you like today's outfit! Pre-flu, of course.
